Histoire du village avant et pendant la bataille du 7 au 26 juin 1944. Le village est un point stratégique pour les alliés dans la conquête de Caen. Les combats opposent le 30e corps d'armée britannique et les troupes allemandes. Le village est pris et repris 23 fois avant sa libération ! Ce n'est que le 18 juin au soir que Tilly-sur-Seulles est définitivement libéré après une attaque de l'infanterie et des chars britanniques contre les Panthers allemands.
