Personal data
An account stores only an email address, a display name and a hashed password. No health data is requested or kept: the site only deals with practical needs.
An account can be deleted from the \u00ab My account \u00bb page. Contributions already published are kept but detached from their author: they document a place, not a person.
You have the right to access, correct, erase and object. Write to the contact address above to exercise it.
If you accepted the newsletter, your address is also kept for that purpose, together with the date of your consent. You can withdraw it at any time from the “My account” page, in one click, as easily as you gave it.
Cookies
Two cookies, both strictly necessary: one remembers the chosen language, the other carries the session once signed in. No analytics, no advertising trackers, no third-party cookies. Nothing is stored for tracking purposes, so there is no consent to ask for.
Content and liability
The information published on place pages is not written by AbleSpot. It is provided by visitors and by the venues themselves, under their own responsibility. Each entry carries its source and its date.
AbleSpot provides the tool that makes publishing possible. It does not check anything on site and therefore cannot guarantee that what is written is accurate, complete or up to date. Information may be wrong or may have aged: a lift breaks down, building work starts, a facility disappears.
The site publisher cannot be held liable for an error, an omission or outdated information on a place page, nor for the consequences of a journey decided on that basis. Before travelling, check with the venue whatever matters most to you.
Contributions are moderated, and published content can be reported. Any incorrect information or inappropriate content can be reported from the page concerned or at the contact address: whatever is founded is removed.
Data sources
Some of the published places come from open datasets, taken as they are. Each entry states where it comes from, and its accessibility information is marked « Imported ».
Places and their accessibility tags come from OpenStreetMap, under the ODbL licence. The list of museums comes from Muséofile, the French Ministry of Culture's register of Musées de France, under the Licence Ouverte / Open Licence version 2.0.
These datasets say little or nothing about accessibility. What the site takes from them is never an on-site observation: it is a copy, and the entry says so.
