L’AMI – Atelier Musée de l’Imprimerie donne sens à une collection unique de machines patiemment rassemblées pendant plus de 20 ans et donne forme à une passion partagée : – Celle de Chantal et de Jean-Paul Maury, un couple d’imprimeurs soucieux de sauvegarder un patrimoine exceptionnel, mais peut-être plus encore de préserver la mémoire des métiers, des technicités, un savoir-faire et d’affirmer la réalité et le dynamisme d’un secteur industriel. – Celle de l’association Artegraf réunissant des professionnels et des anciens du métier de l’imprimerie, soucieux eux aussi de transmission et de tradition. – Celle aussi de l’État, du ministère de la Culture et de la Direction Régionale des Affaires Culturelles (DRAC), du Fonds National d’Aménagement et de Développement du Territoire (FNADT), de la Région Centre-Val de Loire, du département du Loiret, du Pays Beauce Gâtinais en Pithiverais, de la communauté de communes du Pithiverais-Gâtinais et de la commune du Malesherbois qui sont venus apporter leur soutien, leurs technicités et témoigner leur confiance à ce projet culturel, éducatif et touristique.
